Buckeyes Win Fifth-Straight Big Ten Title on Devin Barclay's Overtime Field Goal
COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio State walk-on punched the Buckeyes' ticket to Pasadena.

In overtime, junior placekicker Devin Barclay sent a 39-yard field goal through the uprights to help the Buckeyes clinch at least a share of the 2009 Big Ten championship with a 27-24 overtime win in Ohio Stadium. With the victory, Ohio State earns its first trip to the Rose Bowl since the 1996 campaign.

Gibson Named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player Of Week
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State junior defensive end Thaddeus Gibson was honored as the Big Ten conference co-defensive player of the week for his outstanding performance in the 38-7 win over Minnesota Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

Gibson recorded a career-high three sacks (for -13 yards) in the victory, just one shy of the OSU single-game record and the fifth-best effort in Buckeye history. The native of Euclid, Ohio, also recovered a Gopher fumble and had six tackles in the contest.

Homan Named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week
Junior linebacker Ross Homan racked up a career-high 15 tackles while adding two sacks, a pass breakup and a forced fumble to help the Ohio State defense hold the Badgers' offense to a pair of field goals and remain atop the Big Ten standings.
